Waaagh!

While the Iron Wolves Chapter has engaged a fierce fight against the Tyranid threat, an other danger has appeared. May the Emperor protect us!
At the western frontier of the Lupus sector, exodit colonies of the Alcarinquë Craftworld gas suffered several assaults from the Orks. According to some observers, the Waaagh is leaded by the Big Boss Punch Grosbill, known as Scourge of Proxima IV. Serious reports have confirmed that skirmishes took place between some elements of the IVth Scarisian Regiment and the Orks. Lupus will certainly be the next target of the green skins.
In order to inform you about this new danger, the Laïtus Prime Tribune has decided to present you the Orks and the Waaagh Grosbill : you will learm about their organization, about Punch Grosbill and several other subjects which will help you to understand how critical is our situation.

Clans

Even if we have always thought that the green skins were living in a constant chaos, there is a kind of organization : Clans. Imperial Inquisitors have enumerated many of these clans but six predominate the Ork race. Goffs are the most violent, Evil Sunz like speed, Bad Moonz are the wealthier, Snakebites are the most conservative, Blood Axes are very well disciplined and Death Skulls are plunderers.
Erik Rustins has presented these different clans in a very good article.

STC

From the Proxima IV disaster, Inquisitor Laurend Desprez, may the Emperor protect him, managed to save the precious STC of the Epic 40k detachment sheet.
The Inquisitor has fought numerous Orks to save this unvaluable artifact and it has been said the he had to escape Punch Grosbill himself!
Thanks to the efforts of Laurend Desprez, the loyal citizens of the Imperium can now download this file in the Word 97 format.

Punch Grosbill

The Scurge of Proxima IV seems to be once again a threat for the Imperial peace. Even if the Orks of the Waaagh Grosbill are currently harassing the positions of the Alcarinquë Craftworld, the Lupus sector will probably be the next target of the green skins.
The Laïtus Prime Tribune has investigated about Punch Grosbill, the Big Boss who is leading this Waaagh, what we've discovered is truly fearsome!
May the Emperor protect all of us!

Some results again!

After the results of the first questionnaire about which Game System is the most played in our universe, the Laïtus Prime Tribune is proud to present you the results of its last questionnaire about the races you, readers of the Tribune, prefer.
Without any surprise the Space Marines have the best score followed by the Eldars. Other races are represented but have gathered much less votes. Note that the Squats, even if they have disapeared from Epic 40k, are still played.
The next questionnaire concerns your language. Exceptionally it has been constitued by two questions in order to know if a French speaking Mailing List dedicated to Epic should be interesting. Of course several mailing lists already exists but all of them are in English and there are people in the French speaking Internent community who don't speak this language. Anyway, Such a new mailing list would only complete those which already exist and could only be good for the Internet Epic world.

Ekrazor

If Proxima IV has been the first important target of the Waaagh Grosbill, dozens of less important worlds have suffered from the Orks. This is the case of Faltius Secondus, a planet located near Proxima and protected by the Iron Wolves Chapter.
As usual, Grosbill knew how to lead his invasion by mixing strong offensives and subtile attacks.
Leading a diversion offensive, the Big Boss has sent a little force to destroy secondary objectives and disturb the imperial army. But this time, the Orks of Grosbill have met the anger of the Iron Wolves.

Waaagh!

Orks are wellknown for their terrible Waaagh! The Waaagh is still mysterious for the Inquisition : Orks seem to receive a psychic signal and begin to gather their forces in order to build a maximum of war engines, then they launch the Waaagh and they destroy everything they can find in their path.
The Laïtus Prime Tribune has investigated on Kraklor, an Ork world of the Wheel of Fire, in order to understand how a Waaagh works.
