The Imperium is under the threat of thousands of dangers. Each frontier is defended by Space Marines Chapters and Imperial Guard Regiments against hundreds assaults. Eldars, Orks, Dark Eldars, Chaos, Necrons, Tyranids, we can't name each enemy of Humanity. But death and destruction can come from inside. Every days, planetary governors and other representatives of the Emperor try to conquer power for their own interests. Such men must be strongly punished and their death is the only solution! The Iron Wolves Chapter has announced that the rescue army sent on Nogrod a few months ago is coming back! We lost contact with the Space Marines since the announcement of their failure to save the last Squats of Nogrod.
According to Quist de Slayton, a force of volounteers has been sacrificied to allow the army to evacuate the world. The Steel Wolf has explained that this force has fought the Tyranids with a great bravery, stopping the hords during the evacuation. Last reports from the Cerbere, an Iron Wolf assault frigate cruising near Nogrod, the Hive Fleet Horg Nogrod has now entered Warp. The Imperial authorities think that the next target of the Tyranids is Linos where the IVth Scarisian Regiment is still deploying its forces. The first results of the mini questionnaire are now available. The first question concerned the Epic game system you use.
It's logically Epic 40k which wins with more than 50% of the votes. Space Marine - Titan Legion and NetEpic follow with much more modest scores. This shows however some tendency to come back to the old game system. Despite all the Epic 40k's qualities, Epic veterans can't resist to the SM/TL nostalgia. We all thought that Epic 40k was definitively lost in the Warp but it was wrong. A second issue of Firepower is now available at your mail order. And there are more good news : in this issue you will of course find White Dwarf and Citadel Journal articles but also articles from Epic players, one of them is the "Last Stand at Glazer Creek" from your humble chief editor.

There was a time of legends where Titans where supporting Terra, our homeworld. Nowadays, new Titans have appeared to protect Humanity.
These huge war engines of the Adeptus Titanicus are now the most powerful weapons of our glorious armies. The Reaver class titan is one of these weapons of destruction : this titan can easily be adapted to any battle situation and for this reason it is a constant threat for our enemies. Despite the power of the Imperial Fleet or the huges titans of the Adeptus Mecanicus, the infantry stays the main part of the any army. Only men can maintain in the Imperium the numerous worlds conquered every day.
So controling a world is linked to the structure of the infantry : in this context, notion of squad is very important. A squad is composed by 5 men, some of them can be equiped with heavy weapons to add more firepower. Squadrons are composed by fast units such as bikes or rough riders. A squadron can be composed by 2 units.
